Refunds and cancellations

This policy applies to professional engagements booked with Console Vertex Point (audits, session reviews, and briefing packs). It does not cover physical goods or software licences, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds depend on how much work has started, whether a deposit was paid, and whether observation sittings or document synthesis have already occurred.

Timeframe to request

Contact us within 14 days of the event that triggers your request (cancellation, material change of scope you cannot accept, or delivery dispute). Use hello@consolevertexpoint.digital or +61 8 5550 2180.

Full refund

A full refund of fees paid is available when:

• We cancel the engagement for reasons on our side and no mutually agreed reschedule is possible
• You cancel in writing before we begin intake work and before any deposit is applied to reserved observation time that we cannot rebook

Partial refund

A partial refund may apply when:

• Intake has started but no observation sitting or document review has begun — deposit may be retained to cover preparation hours already spent
• Observation has partly completed — we invoice for work performed (sittings held and analysis hours) and refund the unused balance of prepaid fees

Non-refundable items

• Fees for sittings already completed
• Travel costs already incurred with your written approval
• Third-party room or access fees paid on your behalf with prior approval
• Time spent on a delivered briefing after you have accepted the document in writing

Deposits

Deposits reserve calendar time for observation. If you cancel after a deposit is paid and within ten business days of the first scheduled sitting, the deposit is ordinarily non-refundable because that window is hard to refill. Earlier cancellations are handled case by case under the partial-refund rules above.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule observation sittings once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a reschedule fee reflecting lost sitting time.

No-shows

If operators or sponsors fail to attend an agreed sitting without 24 hours’ notice, that sitting may be billed as completed. We will offer one replacement sitting subject to calendar availability.

Work already started

Once synthesis or drafting of a briefing has begun, fees for that phase are payable even if you later decide not to receive a presentation call.

Purchased materials

We do not sell kits or materials packs. Any printed path maps produced for your engagement are included in the engagement fee and are not separately refundable.

Refund process and timing

1. Email hello@consolevertexpoint.digital with your organisation name, engagement reference, and reason.
2. We confirm eligibility within five business days.
3. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10–15 business days of approval.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law are not excluded. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee where those guarantees apply, you may be entitled to a remedy beyond this policy.
