About
A Perth practice devoted to how people actually use application consoles.
Origin
Console Vertex Point began after years of sitting beside night-shift operators in Perth logistics and utilities rooms. The consoles kept changing; the confusion patterns did not. We started writing those patterns down for the teams who owned the screens — without selling them another monitoring product.
What we stand for
- Observation before opinion. We watch real work before recommending changes.
- Language operators recognise. Briefings use the names of screens and tasks your people already say out loud.
- Portable notes. Findings leave with you as documents, not as a locked account.
- Respect for shift work. Observation schedules bend around quiet hours and handover windows.
Who does the work
Our small Perth team combines people who have run operator desks with writers who turn session notes into briefings leadership can circulate. We do not outsource observation to anonymous contractors; the person who sits with your operators is the person who signs the briefing.
Working with Australian teams
We are based at Level 10, 48 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, and work remotely with teams elsewhere in Australia. Governing habits — privacy, consent to observe, and careful handling of customer-facing data on screen — follow Australian expectations and your organisation’s own rules.
Relationship to clients
Engagements are finite. When the briefing is delivered and the follow-up call is done, the engagement closes unless you ask for a new scope. We are glad to return later for another console or another release window.
